Meet Mrs. Adekunle Gift

Mrs. Adekunle Gift is a multiple award winning REALTOR. She joined FRONTIER COMMERCIAL SERVICES LIMITED as a Sales Executive about 4years ago. She is a wife and a mother to her kids and to those who need motherly attention.


Can you share with us your journey to becoming the top salesperson at Frontier Homes?


As a multiple award winning salesperson, I have several years of experience in exceeding sales targets and driving a sustainable sales growth. I spearheaded a strategic initiative that led to several awards and I have a proven ability to identify and seize opportunities in the market, build and manage high-performing sales record and establish long-term partnerships with key clients. By leveraging my deep industry knowledge and extensive network, I consistently deliver exceptional results and contribute to the company's overall success. Above all I give it all to GOD for his grace and mercy.

What do you believe sets you apart from your peers in the real estate industry?


We all have our uniqueness and our incredible strategies toward making sales, but like I said earlier, it takes years of experience to be able to identify and see opportunity and when the opportunity comes, my personal strategy and ability takes it strike and that is it.


What strategies or techniques do you attribute to your success in closing deals and exceeding sales targets?


One of my favorite strategies is customer relationships, making sure I thoroughly look into my customers need and purpose and give the suitable land and location for the purpose of the purchase. Not only do I listen to all of my clients, but I take the extra step by looking into their interest and desire. By so doing, I can spot details that may likely increase the chances of my client liking the particular land, I feel that my active listening and empathy skills allow me to make them feel comfortable with the company as a whole 


How do you approach building and maintaining relationships with clients in the real estate market?


Like I said earlier, that my most active and best strategy is building a good customer relationship, and also I try to see my self as the client and also as the marketer, there by understanding and relating with their needs and want… 


Can you share a particularly challenging deal or situation you encountered last year and how you successfully navigated it?


I would say a deal I sealed around Oct/Nov 2023, which was about 20M naira deal, happens that on the day of inspection the customer insisted I show him the particular plot we are allocating which was not possible, after payment on the day of allocation the customer alleged that the place we gave him he did not like it, OMG you can imagine that….it took a lot of explanation and eye opening fact for him to accept it, and he was later happy and as of today, he is building is mansion already to the glory of GOD

As a woman in a predominantly male-dominated industry, what challenges have you faced, and how have you overcome them?


I won’t say I face any challenges actually, because everybody with his/her Client and target you do your thing I do my thing, it practically that simple.



How do you balance your professional and personal life while excelling in your career?


Its quite challenging I wouldn’t shy away from that, but thank GOD for the understanding partner that I have, I mean my darling Husband, with him always by my side I would say its been easy.



In your opinion, what are some of the key factors contributing to your success as a salesperson in the real estate industry?


Knowing what you want, and targeting what you want relentlessly

What advice would you give to other women aspiring to excel in sales and leadership roles?


I would advise them to focus on what they want, and never to give up, by having a strong determination with hard work, they will surely achieve it
